Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (ZGH) is head quartered in Hangzhou City, China. The Group’s core business activities are within the automotive industry where it controls the following world renowned automotive groups and vehicle brands; Geely Auto Group which consists of Geely Auto and LYNK & CO brands, Volvo Car Group, and Geely Commercial Vehicles which consists of London Taxi Company and Yuan Cheng Auto.
Geely Auto Group (Geely Auto)
Geely Auto is headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang and have manufacturing facilities across China, including in Taizhou, Ningbo, Xiangtan, Baoji and Chengdu, as well as the Geely Automobile Technology Centre and the Geely Automobile Research Institute in Hangzhou Bay and Linhai respectively. The company also have a power train assembly unit and a research institute in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.
The company is made up of two core brands; Geely Auto, position as a mainstream brand and LYNK & CO, a new globally focused high-end car brand that is addressing the preferences of a globally connected generation. The company was officially listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005 under the stock code 0175.HK.
Geely Auto Group operates design centers across the world; Geely Design studios can be found in Shanghai, Gothenburg, Barcelona and California. Geely Design currently employees over 500 designers across the world.
Volvo Car Group (Volvo Cars)
Volvo Cars is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden with units for product development, design, marketing and administration. The company have vehicle and powertrain manufacturing bases around the world: Gothenburg in Sweden, Ghent in Belgium, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Chengdu, Daqing and Zhangjiakou in China. Volvo also produce their own engines and engine components in Skövde, Floby, and Zhangjiakou as well as body components in Olofström, Sweden. They have also established a technology centre in Shanghai, China and a design centre in Camarillo, USA. In 2016, Volvo global sales totalled over 534 thousand cars.
Geely Commercial Vehicle (GCV)
Geely Commercial Vehicle (GCV) plays an important role in Zhejiang Geely Holding Group goal to become one of the world’s leading automotive companies. It company acts as a holding company for two core brands: The London Taxi Company and Yuan Cheng Auto.

London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) or Black Cab has been an integral part of British history for over 70 years and LTC are proud to be the only manufacturer in the world of this iconic and instantly recognisable, distinctly English motor vehicle.
The TX is is the fifth generation of London Taxi and the first to be zero emission capable. The TX uses LECV’s eCity technology. Range extended technology allows the TX to travel over 70 miles on pure electric power alone whilst the small gasoline engine provides a further 400 miles range
LEVC are headquartered in Coventry in England’s East Midlands, where it also has an R&D centre and production facility, the firm operates a further production plant in Shanghai, China. In 2016 Zhejiang Geely Holding Group announced a 300 million GBP investment in a new production facility in Ansty, UK, where the latest generation of zero emission taxi vehicle will be produced.
Yuan Cheng Auto is focused on the development of new energy commercial vehicles and has already launched several long range capable truck and bus solutions. The company is focused on the development and commercial realization of range extended and pure electric technologies for commercial vehicle application.
